A Fan Girl Moment Meeting With Sanderijn –2025.03

In March, a very special meeting took place in Hangzhou.

Our advisor, Sanderijn van der Doef, visited the city to speak at a sexuality symposium. It was also the first time she and our founder, Xixi, met in person, an inspiring moment months in the making.

Over tea and thoughtful conversation, Sanderijn shared reflections from her decades of global work collaborating with ministries of education, shaping sexuality education across countries, and even recalling her earlier visit to China many years ago. It was a beautiful reminder of how far the field has come and how much further we can go, together.

As the conversation unfolded, so did the promise of new beginnings. CUE is thrilled to enter a new phase of collaboration with Sanderijn, who will be exploring the relevance and adaptability of our consent education content for both secondary and postsecondary institutions in the Netherlands. With her expertise and insight, this partnership marks a hopeful next step in bringing thoughtful, research-informed tools to more students.
