NEWS - CUE Starts the R&D Of A New Life Transition Series For Global Students –2023.07

At CUE, we are committed to creating deeply researched, emotionally resonant learning series that support individuals’ well-being.

The consent series has a strong focus on the macro-cultural influences that shape individuals’ communication styles and tendencies. Unsurprisingly, over the past three years of developing the consent education content, we found that conversations around identity, autonomy, and belonging kept surfacing in another context: the profound shift students experience when relocating for overseas studies.

What began as an inquiry into consent, sexuality, relationships, and the personal contexts students bring to these topics soon revealed another urgent need—supporting the psychological, cultural, and emotional relocation students undergo as they cross borders, both externally and internally.

This July, we’re proud to officially launch the next chapter in our journey: the R&D of a program focusing on the mental relocation aspect of overseas studies. Like the previous program, this series also blends animations, prompted reflections, and other elements. It builds on everything we’ve learned so far—from pedagogical design to cultural nuance—and centers the student experience with care, creativity, and curiosity.

We’re excited to collaborate with schools, educators, and global learners and share this next offering to students in the early life transition of overseas studies — reimagining and remaking overseas preparation as something grounded, thoughtful, and deeply human.
