CUE recognizes sexual consent as a form of communication, deeply personal and shaped by culture, knowledge, embodiment, emotion, memory, cognition, relational dynamics, and environmental cues. That’s why personalized consent education isn’t just an upgrade; it’s a fundamental necessity for consent education to be effective.
CUE offers a microlearning tool (10–15 minutes) and a modular program (6 hours) — two interconnected experiences designed to support young people during their transition from adolescence to early adulthood. The tool sparks early personal reflection and introduces key concepts around sexual consent. The modular program offers a guided space for deeper learning and development.
The Intimacy IQ Test is a cultural and behavioural assessment featuring 24 thought-provoking questions and real-life scenarios. This digital tool, accessible on any device, phone or computer, guides learners through a private, reflective micro-learning journey.
Along the way, learners discover their unique consent communication style by examining the personal, cultural, and social forces that shape how they express intimacy and desire. At the end of the journey, they watch a short, engaging video introducing the core principles of consent: mutual, voluntary, ongoing, and capable.
We identify four key dimensions that shape how individuals interact with others. Based on their responses, learners receive a personalized 2,500-word report detailing where their consent communication style falls along a 0–100% spectrum across each dimension. Growth opportunities are identified as well.
Learners arrive on the welcome page, where they are given an introduction of the learning tool, including text introduction and a video introduction. They then enter the Q&A session, which accesses their answers on the following grounds.
The result indicates the way one conveys a message. Do you rely heavily on background information, relational implications, and shared experiences, thus including many non-verbal cues? Or do you rely a little on context, and prefer explicit, direct and verbal communication? You will get a percentage result that reflects your current tendency, and there is no right or wrong communication style.
Result indicates how one relates to others on a hierarchical scale. Do you value equal treatment, strive for shared decision-making, and balance power dynamics in intimate relationships? Or perhaps, you show more of a tendency to respect and defer to authority figures, and perceive power imbalances as inherent in various social contexts, including intimate relationships.
Result indicates where one’s priorities lie. The “I” tendency is to place a higher value on personal goals, autonomy, and self-expression in sex and relationship. The “us” tendency is to place a high value on relational harmony, social bonds and in-group expectations .
Sex shame refers to the feeling of guilt, embarrassment, or self-blame that can arise from one’s sexual thoughts, desires, or behaviours, particularly when those thoughts or behaviours are considered taboo or stigmatized by one’s culture, religion, or community.
The report does not give a clinical or diagnostic feeling, but feels like a warm, reflective guide. It offers insights that are informative, nonjudgmental, and easy to understand, using everyday language to encourage self-awareness rather than assessment.
Integrating the Intimacy IQ Test into your institution’s digital ecosystem is fast, flexible, and requires little technical setup on your end. Here’s how it works:
Institutions receive a unique, trackable link for their students. This link (or QR code) can be embedded in emails, orientation guides, learning and management systems (LMS), websites, mobile apps or standalone programming
When students click the link, they are taken to CUE’s user-friendly platform, accessible on any device, no download required. We can set up an institutional login account upon request. The experience is fully anonymized, private, and self-paced.
Upon request, we provide an anonymized participation dataset, including test results, completion rates, demographics and other customized data previously set up, to help your institution track engagement, inform programming, and report on learning impact.
For institutions seeking a fully embedded experience, we also offer Option 2: LMS Integration. This alternative allows you to host the entire Intimacy IQ Test directly within your existing Learning Management System (LMS), providing a seamless experience for learners who remain within your institutional platform. It’s ideal for schools looking to integrate the program into formal coursework, onboarding, or mandatory training modules. For this option, your IT department needs to collaborate with us.
The Intimacy IQ Test seamlessly fits into key moments and spaces where young people engage, reflect, and grow. It integrates effortlessly into orientation programs, digital wellness platforms, sexual violence prevention offices, student wellness centers, and diversity and inclusion initiatives. It supports onboarding, enriches curriculum modules on relationships and well-being, and complements peer-led workshops.
Whether delivered via a simple link or fully embedded in your LMS, the Intimacy IQ Test offers a powerful, private space for students to explore sexual consent, in a way that’s personal, culturally aware, and developmentally aligned.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐋𝐚𝐛 is a 6-hour learning experience composed of bite-sized, 10–15 minute modules. Each mini block combines scenario-based learning with key takeaways designed for easy absorption and real-life application. It is accessible on any device.
It offers not only a deep exploration of sexual consent and the self, but also a guided space to build emotional literacy, navigate relational dynamics, and foster consent culture awareness among peers and the community. Through multimedia content, interactive reflection prompts and games, learners engage both intellectually and emotionally.
The Consent Lab fits easily into students’ busy schedules, with each session lasting just 15–20 minutes. To be completed over a semester, learners can live their full student lives and return to this space when ready to think critically, grow securely, and re-engage more mindfully in their intimate relationships.

Integrating the Consent Lab into your institution’s digital ecosystem is fast, flexible, and requires no technical setup on your end. Here’s how it works:
You’ll receive a plug-and-play package that can be uploaded directly into your institution’s Learning Management System (LMS), such as Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard, or others.
Your IT or instructional design team can upload the package in minutes. No custom coding or technical development is required.
Upon request, we provide anonymized participation data and completion rates to help your institution track engagement, inform programming, and report on learning impact.
While most institutions prefer to host The Consent Lab on their own Learning Management System (LMS), we also offer the option for students to access the program directly through CUE’s secure learning platform. This is ideal for institutions seeking a quick setup with minimal technical involvement. Students simply receive a unique link and complete the program at their own pace — no installation or integration required.
The Consent Lab is designed for institutions ready to invest in meaningful, developmentally attuned learning around sexual consent. It fits naturally into residential life programming, wellness initiatives, and diversity and inclusion pathways. It supports student affairs and prevention offices in driving institutional cultural change, while offering deeply personalized learning for students.
Modular and self-paced, the Lab’s flexible design fits easily across a semester. Rooted in research and built for real life, it meets students where they are, through inquiry, relevance, and reflection anchored in their lived experiences.
We don’t just design learning content, we craft the conditions for reflection, connection, and transformation. At CUE, each and every word, and the pause between them, is shaped with intention and care because every learner deserves a space where they feel seen, respected, and empowered.
Check out what kind of impact and collaborations we have had in the past years. Whether you’re a partner, educator, or curious reader, the CUE Newsroom offers a window into how we’re building a more reflective, connected, and consent-conscious world. Stay up to date with our latest insights, announcements, and impact.
We care because emotional, relational, and sexual wellbeing are foundational to student success, not extracurricular to it.
We care because safety begins with shared understanding and shared language around boundaries, respect, and responsibility.
We care because tech-enabled learning can drive institutional change, reaching every student across campuses and time zones with consistency.
We care because inclusion isn’t just policy; it’s learned through empathy, cultural fluency, and reflective dialogue.
